This limited edition single malt, Talisker’s oldest expression to date, was aged in oak casks burnt over a flame powered by sustainably harvested kelp, making it a valuable collectible and a meaningful contribution to ocean conservation.

In addition, the oak staves used to create those barrels soaked in the brine of the Atlantic Ocean off the Cape of Good Hope by being tied to the front of the boat that marine biologists used to explore the Great African Kelp forest.

There’s a hint of iodine and sea salt in the air, and you can smell the ocean from the warm sand. Thunder clouds are gathering in the sky, and there’s virtually no fire left in the fire pit.
